CURRICULUM DESIGN AND INSTRUCTION - Thella-Nkhasi

This course explores foundations of curriculum, particularly, philosophies of idealism, pragmatism, and

existentialism: psychology of mental discipline, natural unfoldment, behaviourism and Gesalt field and how

they impact on design, instruction and the concepts of learning. The course briefly compares the approaches

of the Objectives and the Process Models of design and their implications for design and instruction.
