CARE AND SAFETY

This course introduces major factors affecting the health, hygiene, safety and nutrition of infants and young children and promotion of their physical well-being. Attention is also given to good housekeeping and safe use of equipment. It helps to instil knowledge about the importance of water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) for personal and environmental safety. Explore indigenous and scientific methods of keeping the environment clean and safe. Guidance is given on ways of detecting diseases early in the life of the preschool child and their preventative measures.
