COURSE SYNOPSIS

The course highlights the role of play in the young child’s development. It exposes the students to the richness of the eco-cultural environment in terms of resources and materials that children can utilize for play and how teachers and caregivers can adapt those to the social, emotional, intellectual and moral context so that the child can reap the benefits from play.  the Course will equip students with skills and understand the different stages of play, forms of play and the role of parents/adults in enhancing children’s play.
