This course is intended to equip student-teachers with skills required to track the regular development of children. The human being is never static. From the moment of conception to the time of death, the person is undergoing changes. Development may be defined as a progressive series of orderly, coherent changes. The various developments that take place during the life time of an individual are physical, motor, social, emotional, intellectual, aesthetic and moral. Developmental Psychology is the branch of psychology that studies intra individual and inter individual changes. Therefore, this course aims to develop an understanding about different aspects of human development

from infancy to adolescence.
