Weight and Mass

The attached table displays some differences between mass and weight.

It indicates clearly that scientifically mass and weight are different.

Weight is the amount of force of gravity while mass is the amount of matter in an object.

This two concepts are related by a formula:

Weight = Mass x gravity , in short  W = m x g, or W = mg

       (N  = Kg x N/kg) are the units
