The course is designed for all students registered as Mathematics specialists in the department of Pure Sciences. It is intended to equip student teachers with content knowledge and skills that will enable them to handle COSC mathematics and also as a basis for further studies. The topics covered include: surds, exponential and logarithmic functions, permutations, combinations and binomial theorem, progression, trigonometric functions and identities, and complex numbers
