The
course focuses on methods and strategies for teaching and learning Mathematics
at junior secondary level. The methods and strategies such as discovery,
discussion, cooperative learning, problem solving, games, Socratic and
exposition will be dealt with. Lesson planning and construction of teaching
materials will be looked at. Peer teaching where the use of the said methods is
involved will be done.
