The aim of the course will be to develop knowledge and understanding the principles of engineering science. The topics covered in the course will provide a scientific proof for many of the processes carried out elsewhere on the course and also an appreciation of the functions of the varied types of machines, which will be used. Topics covered include, forces, levers and linkages, statics and dynamics.
