This course is designed for all students
registered in the department of Commercial studies. It is intended to equip
student-teachers with content knowledge and skills that will enable them to
meet mathematical requirements in their area of specialization. The topics
covered comprises basic arithmetic, linear algebra, equations and graphs,
quadratic and cubic function (solutions and graphs), inequalities and linear
programming. Concepts of progression (AP’s and GP’s), the Binomial Theorem and
application of series in accounting are also included in the course
