This course will expose students to their culture through the Basotho riddles, folktales, proverbs and idioms. The course also exposes students to elements of short story. There is also poetry and heroic poetry that is analysed in conjunction with deverbative eulogues, other figures of speech, theme and historical background. The course will assist a learner to posses the following attributes: submissive but assertive when need arises. The students will relate their life experiences to what they have read in both modern and traditional literature.
