The course comprises Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Methodology. The course is intended to equip student teachers with understanding of the science concepts and principles in the three science disciplines. The methodology component will help student teachers to incorporate teaching resources and contemporary issues in science into their teaching. The biology component of this course is intended to introduce students to more living structures such as, coordination, excretion, transport in animals and reproduction in animals.  The chemistry component covers bonding: ionic and covalent, acids and bases, as well as metals and alloys.  Physics concepts that will be covered include magnetism, static and current electricity.
