The student teachers are exposed to the teaching of Sesotho literature, where elements of a novel and biographical sketch of the author will be tackled. In modern poetry students will explore the diction, biographical details, message and theme. The course explores aspects of communication skills: different types of essays and comprehension directed writing and article speech. In language, the course exposes student teachers to the sounds of changes in relation to the phonological principles and rules, then to the structure and formation of nouns, their functions and usage, and the pronoun as a form of substantive.
